Just got our newsletter done and emailed. The snailmail should be going out in a couple of days. I'm thinking about posting excerpts from the newsletter on the blog page. Not sure if that is the best way to go. :)
Anyway, lots going on in our lives... We are expecting our second son, due November 22, and are anxiously watching the days of this year go by! This summer, Steve is leading a church team from Canada to Peru for a time of tribal exposure and to work on the new property in Pucalpa. Prior to that we have vacation coming up and several family events happening in NJ. It feels like our weekends for the next month are FULL!!
In the meantime, both of our cars are dying... RIP!! And we need to find some new wheels. This has proven difficult with our schedules and without benefit of a babysitter. Pray that we find a babysitter we can trust with Ian, and also that the Lord will give direction regarding our vehicle needs. We want to be good stewards and are feeling the pressure of time constraints. Also pray that we will be able to maintain our focus on ministry. It seems that we are daily fighting this battle to keep sight of the goal. The "stuff of life" really does get in the way, as Paul said.
